Bedians started brightly and had the majority of the play in the first 15 minutes creating a very good chance that the excellent Bury Goalkeeper made a fantastic double save from firstly a good shot down to the keepers right by Cam Walker, and then with Chris Sherrington following in, the keeper managed to get up and stop the shot on the left with his legs; Bury picked up after this and in the 26th minute scored the first goal from a ball from the right that the Bedians defender tried to control the ball but completely misjudged it. The centre forward was through and unselfishly squared the ball for his partner to put into the Bedian's goal to make it 1-0 to Bury Amateurs. Bedians responded quickly, and in the 32nd minute, a deep cross from Centre Half Tosin Aboiye that bypassed the Bedians attack, the Bury full-back tried to turn away with the ball; however, Cam Walker made a perfect slide tackle and won the ball, he got up off the grass and laid it off to Chris Sherrington and he passed it to Joe Mensah who controlled the ball and shot into the far corner to score an excellent goal. Buy had the better of the rest of the half and went ahead again in the 43rd minute by making a good move down the Bedian's left. The winger crossed the ball into the edge of the 6-yard box for the Bury forward to score with a one-touch finish. 2-1 to Bury at halftime.

The half time break helped Bedians because they came out of the blocks with the introduction of Finn McGuire Bedians began to dominate and created four good chances, Bury were resolute and standing firm and on the hour mark Bury broke away and a snapshot from outside the box gave Bury a 3-1 lead, this led to Bedians introducing into the game Kane Hussain & Jack Cooper with the guile of Finn McGuire and the power and pace of Kane Hussain Bedians began to control the game and were creating good chances and in the 76th minute Michael Olayinka passed a 50 yard ball to Kane Hussain who was tightly marked and he controlled the ball and made a sharp turn to elude his marker, then he sprinted with the ball to the edge of box, he was tripped up on the edge of the box, the ensuing free kick was taken by Chris Sherrington who curled the ball around the wall and the keeper made a great save and pushed the ball onto the post, Finn McGuire reacted the quickest and side footed the ball past the desperate Bury defenders to reduce Bury's lead to one. Bedians were well on top and looking for an equaliser; in the 80th minute, Cam Walker & Finn McGuire played some tidy football in a tight area to get the ball to Chris Sherrington and he tried to put Jack Cooper through, which the centre halve read. However, Jack closed him down quickly and forced the centre half to clear for a throw-in, which went high into the air; Kane Hussain managed to bring the ball down, beat two defenders and pass it to Finn before being fouled; however, the referee played on and Finn showed great skill & athletism inside the box with four defenders close in pursuit to push the ball past the Bury Centre Half and hurdle over his challenge get to the ball and pull the ball back another defender got a touch on the ball however Jack Cooper who is a predator in the box pounced on the opportunity to strike the ball past the goalkeeper and defender on the line to equalise the score at 3-3. Bedians created another excellent chance in the 90th minute; however, this came to nothing. In the last minute, Joe Mensah played a lovely ball on a half-turn volley to put Chris Sherrington through with only the keeper to beat. Unfortunately, he didn't get his shot off, so he tried to round the keeper and ran the ball out for a goal kick. The game ended 3-3.

Despite the draw, the match was a testament to both teams' competitive attitude and sportsmanship. The game was played in a great spirit, entertaining the audience and showcasing the skills and determination of the players.
