Squad similar to the previous week not often you can say that

It was an electrifying encounter as Bedians squared off against Pro United for the very first time, and anticipation filled the air! Known for their roster of young, dynamic ex-academy players, we braced ourselves for a thrilling clash of attacking football and oh, did we get it! As the referee blew the whistle to start the match on the vibrant new 4G pitch at Hough End, both teams launched themselves into an exhilarating battle.
Bedians struck first in the 9th minute! From a corner, Cam Walker delivered a pinpoint cross, and the indomitable Eric Ageymang soared above everyone else, head and shoulders above, to nod it home 1-0 to Bedians! But Pro United responded with determination, equalising in the 30th minute. They orchestrated a swift move, deftly navigating the Bedians press. Their central midfielder sent a beautiful ball through to the centre forward, who beat our keeper Tomasz to the punch. A simple square pass later, and it was 1-1! Just three minutes later, the Bedians were back in the driver's seat. Eric Ageymang, relentless as always, found himself on the left wing after a slick pass from Jude Carswell. With electric pace, he left his marker in the dust and unleashed a powerful shot into the far corner 2-1! But Pro United weren’t done yet; they won a penalty in the 34th minute, and the centre forward coolly converted from the spot to level things at 2-2. Moments later, in the 39th minute, they struck again! A beautifully orchestrated move down the left side saw their No. 10 pounce on a slow reaction from the Bedians defence, and just like that, it was 3-2 to Pro United! Bedians seemed momentarily stunned and were reeling from the pressure, but they showed their character in added time of the first half. Just when it looked like they might go in trailing, Eric Ageymang completed a brilliant hat trick! A long ball from Tomasz found Kane Hussain, who expertly held up play. A clever pass to the skipper, Cam Walker, who squared it to Eric he deftly lifted the ball over the keeper amidst chaos to make it 3-3 at halftime.
During the break, the Bedians regrouped and came out fired up. From the kick-off, they dominated the second half, creating four golden opportunities within the first five minutes. Finally, in the 67th minute, they took the lead!
A crafty throw-in allowed Finn McGuire to showcase his growing talent as he received the ball and curled it to Jude Carswell, poised at the edge of the box. With a swift turn, Jude placed a precise shot in the corner 4-3 to Bedians! And the momentum only grew! Just five minutes later, Rylan McEvoy made his mark with a stunning header. A throw-in led to George’s high cross, and Rylan’s aggression paid off as he thundered the ball off the crossbar and into the net 5-3!
In the 79th minute, the sensational Eric completed his four-goal haul after a brilliant team move that began with Tomasz in goal. A majestic pass from Cam found Rylan, who selflessly squared it for Kane. Eric was there to tap it in 6-3 to Bedians! But wait, there’s more! Even in added time, Bedians refused to ease up. A long ball from Pro United was expertly intercepted, and Ryan Timmons set up Cam Walker beautifully. Without hesitation, Cam sent the ball out left to Eric, who expertly whipped it toward Rylan at the back post. A defender’s desperate clearance fell to Kane, who unleashed a cannon of a shot 7-3! What a match it had been! While the scoreboard favoured Bedians, we commend Pro United for their tenacity and skill. These young athletes, aged 17 to 18, showcased incredible promise and will undoubtedly be a force to be reckoned with in the future! which made it an extremely entertaining game played in great spirit.
