A Couple of changes this week as Cam Walker & Chris Sherrington are away on holiday

What a thrilling showdown we witnessed in the Cheshire League! The match was a rollercoaster ride from start to finish. Bedians kicked off with a blaze of glory, showcasing dazzling attacking flair. Just 20 minutes in, the pressure paid off: Jack Cooper stepped up and coolly converted a penalty, sending the ball soaring into the net to put Bedians in the lead. For the next few minutes, it seemed like every attack could end in a goal! But Winsford struck back, and what a response it was! A pinpoint through ball split our defense wide open, allowing their center forward to deftly lift it over our keeper, leveling the score. The momentum shifted dramatically; Winsford seized control, and soon after, a reckless challenge from one of our defenders led to a free kick that they converted with a stunning effort, putting them ahead 2-1. The atmosphere in the stadium grew tense as Bedians found themselves reeling. However, in a breathtaking last gasp of the first half, Bedians resumed their fight! The keeper, Tomasz, initiated a slick play from the back, and after an incredible nine-pass sequence, Erick Ageymang found the net, delivering an equalizer to make it 2-2 as we headed into the break.
The second half Bedians emerged like a firework display! Within the first minute, Finn McGuire made magic happen, leaping between defenders to nod the ball into the roof of the net, lighting up the field with a goal that would make any fan proud! Then, in the 56th minute, Bedians struck again, as Tosin Aboiye powered a shot from outside the box into the back of the net, pushing the lead to 4-2!
Winsford put up a fight and won a penalty in the 72nd minute, but Tomasz emerged as a hero, denying their attempt with a spectacular save that had the Bedians faithful roaring. The excitement didn’t stop there! In the 76th minute, Jack Cooper made another statement, confidently scoring his second penalty of the match, extending the lead to 5-2.
As if that weren’t enough, Kane Hussain powered a brilliant header into the net, and to top it all off, Prindi Kimputu capped off an unforgettable day with a breathtaking team goal that made the final score 7-2 in favor of Bedians! What a fantastic team performance, filled with resilience and flair—this match will surely be remembered by all that took part in the game.
